The village of Grazie, a hamlet of Curtatone, develops around the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, from which it gets its name. Fishermen’s houses, porticos, and shops animated the village. Behind the Sanctuary you go down to the Mincio, accompanied by water lilies, canals and reeds that create an idyllic atmosphere. The real amazement comes with the National Encounter of the Madonnars who paint and color with chalices the square in front of the Shrine with sacred images.
