The tree-lined avenue leading to Gradella will take you to a rural village. The rustic village is characterized by yellow buildings with red bricks in view, houses with connecting courtyards, wooden doors and porches. A Lombard garrison, it was probably equipped with a castle. Visitable today is Villa Maggi, Count Maggi’s house that contributed to the remarkable development of the hamlet. Despite its expansion, the village maintained its centuries-old appearance.
