Once surrounded by walls, developed around the fortress unfortunately destroyed, the hamlet is now the symbol of the countryside and rural life. Castelponzone still retains porticoes, stone streets, fields and agricultural squares that give tranquility and peace. Living in the village were rope makers, the main activity of the village. The cultivation of the hemp allowed the production of ropes and cords. This art is disappearing, but remains testimony in the Cordain Museum.
