The Village of Castellaro Lagusello – Castellaro Lagusello (Borgo)
It is curious to know that this little hamlet actually was created as a city wall without walls or dwellings inside it. Between the fields and the moraine hills, a heart-shaped pond forms the fortified village. Among the rustic houses built with exposed stones, the clock tower, streets and walls, the Baroque church of San Nicola stands out. The Arrighi-Tacoli villa has remained intact since the 13th century, and was built on a former feudal castle.
