Monforte d’Alba is part of the 11 municipalities that produce Barolo wine. The village lies on the hills of the Langhe between isolated slopes. A medieval setting, Monferrato d’Alba hosts one of the most striking open-air amphitheaters. Thanks to the natural slope of the land, in the old town, piano pianist Horszowski opened an amphitheater with perfect acoustics. Also visit the oratory of St. Augustine and the Scarampi Palace.
