Its origins date back to the twelfth century and, after numerous renovations, is externally exposed by two domes covered with colored majolica and with the red brick bell tower. The interior is a single box-vaulted nave, divided into five ramparts and cross-arches, with four chapels per side. Behind the altar are the carved stalks of the precious wooden choir. The paintings that decorate the walls were made by artist Emilio Scherer.
