Campione D’italia – Campione D’Italia

The small enclave of Campione d’Italia, halfway between the border of Como and Lake Lugano, is famous for both the beauty of the landscape and the ancient artistic tradition of the Campionesi Masters. The territory was donated in the eighth century by a Lombard, Totone, to the abbots of Saint Ambrogio in Milan, and since then Campione has remained an Italian island in a foreign land. Art and history combine with the refined and sought-after world of the Municipal Casinos.
