Planetarium Ulrico Hoepli – Milano

It was the publisher and astronomy enthusiast Ulrico Hoepli, Swiss by birth but Milanese by adoption, who gave his namesake planetarium to the city of Milan in 1929. It has an octagonal plan and the size of the room, with a capacity of 300 seats, makes it the largest in Italy and one of the largest in the world. The structure is an educational hub for astronomy and the sciences associated with it.
