The Veregra Street Festival is one of the largest festivals dedicated to street art and juggling. It takes place in Montegranaro, one of the main towns in the Marche footwear district. For eight days straight, streets and squares are filled with actors, musicians and jugglers in a wonderful kaleidoscope of sounds and colours. Many acrobatic companies participate in the festival, arriving from all over the world, including France, Spain, Australia, Argentina and Canada. Over the years, the festival has extended to neighbouring towns, becoming an opportunity to promote the distinctiveness of the local area. The name Veregra was the ancient name of Montegranaro.
