The Kimera International Film Festival was born in 2003 as a short film festival entitled “The Night of the Living Shorts“. It later opened up to feature films, changing its name in 2008 and achieving excellent results in terms of audience. The event takes place in Termoli and has a strong international vocation, being open to all nations. It is free, and in addition to its screenings, it includes a series of meetings with the authors in the town squares. The shorts section has three categories: fiction, animation and social engagement shorts. Meanwhile, the feature film section has been expanded to include “fantasy” and “generalist” films. The high-level guests, expert jury and quality of the selected films make this film festival very interesting.
