Book your ticket for the Dome climb and the Florence city walking tour You will start the tour with a guided tour to the Cupola. The only way to see the inside of the dome and enjoy the extraordinary view of Florence, is to climb its 463 steps. Once you climb to the top of the Cupola, discover her design and how it's been built by Brunelleschi in 1418 and admire Giorgio Vasari's frescoes of the Last Judgment. Look down and on the base you will see the balcony started, but never finished.
Later in the afternoon, you will meet the guide in front of the Hard Rock Cafe to start the walking tour. The first stop will be Piazza Della Republica, the main square of Florence. After you will walk straight to the Piazza del Duomo. Whilst passing the Duomo Square, the guide will lead you straight through the old buildings and some of the historical landmarks of Florence to Palazzo Vecchio, where the David’s sculpture (the original is in the Galleria dell'Accademia) by Michelangelo's placed outside the Palazzo Vecchio as a symbol of the Republic's defiance of the tyrannical Medici.
Afterward, the guide will take you through the Uffizi Gallery, one of the greatest museums of the world, before you reach the most famous old bridge of Florence known as Ponte Vecchio. Your next stop is at Palazzo Pitti, the palace built by Filippo Brunelleschi and the household of the Pitti Family, and later of the Medici's. Your last stop will be at La Strega Nocciola for a delicious gelato offered to you by Star Florence.
